I would like to share a photo of a traditional wedding cake done by an upcoming cake artist - Jullicks Cake. A full interview excerpt will be coming your way on the 10th.
In the meantime, please enjoy and comment. If you are interested in getting a cake for a loved on or for yourself contact +234-802222-7477 This has been a long time coming. Back in 2011 or so when I finally decided it was time for me to learn how to decorate a cake, I downloaded a couple of shoe templates and made a drying rack out of left over fondant. However, fast-forward 5year to May 2016 and a new kitchen, my drying rack was tossed and that ended the dream of ever making a fondant shoe.
By October 2016, a very good friend had asked me to make a stiletto cake for her nieces' 21st and I thought "o shoot!" now I've got to make stuff I've been avoiding for ages. Not cool! Anyways, thats the background story to how I ended up making a stiletto shoe. Coming up in the next two days or so will be the details if how I made the shoe and how many I ended up making including the problems I faced whilst making it. Till then, happy caking! Timah xoxo With each New Year we get a fresh, clean page to start over. Here’s hoping that life writes a beautiful new chapter for you this year. Happy New Year!
